The GC Library has a room reservation system to manage room and other library space reservations. Reservations for use of the Flexible Learning Space, located in the Library are made through this system.

NOTICE: The Flexible Learning Space can only be reserved by GC Faculty and Staff. Students are able to utilize the space if there are no scheduled reservations. 

What is the Flexible Learning Space?

The Flexible Grouping & Instructional Space in the Library is a highly flexible and technology accessible space to be used by the redesigned Learning Frameworks (LFW) course and as a space for other redesigned courses to utilize for collaborative work. 

The Flexible Learning Space is equipped with:
 
The FLS has moveable modular furniture with electrical outlets and moveable whiteboards to facilitate collaborative team-work . The white boards also function as dividers to allow the space to be reconfigured for small or large groups as needed. Mobile computers on wheels (laptop cart), mobile and flexible grouping tables, and available laptops will help to create a flexible instructional space.

How do I reserve the Flexible Learning Space online?

  • Select an available (green) slot for the start of you reservation.
  • Submit Times.
  • Agree to Terms and Conditions.
  • Complete the Reservation Form and Submit Your Booking
  • Follow the link included in the confirmation email to confirm your booking. Failure to do so within 2 hours after receiving the email will cause the request to be cancelled.
